You assume correctly, I currently have no position in MSFT.
I did at various times. And have had puts and calls at various
times. For long termers, it is a growth stock. For short
termers, it is a market psychology play.

And you get real. Sleazy presidents or no, MSFT market practices
really do have more impact on the lives of our children, because
it will determine the economics of the world they grow up in, good
or evil. The tabloid coverage of a president is just part of the
general sex-entertainment barrage, and will go off the screen with
the change of players. I can hate what the president does in his
private affairs, or the way he conducts politics, but if his actions
in economic and political realms have long term positive or negative
effects, that is what counts. Similarly with MSFT, I don't give
a d*mn if they are nice or not nice, bully or don't bully, per se.
I care about what the consequences are of what they do. So should
you, whether as a shareholder or a consumer.
