The US markets do best when the futures go down overnight and then recover. This was the trend for a very long time over the past several months. There were 200 point swings on NDX futures while Americans were sleeping and then in the morning it was as if nothing had happened. This overnight "rotation" took out a lot of pressure off the system and allowed the stocks to trade smoothly during the days. I'd be concerned if the overnight futures start behaving like they do during the days.

As to the rotation, as I said on my thread, I'd invest based on the expectation that (1) Covid will be a non-issue in the US (and likely EU) within 6 months, and (2) the slowdown will trough in about 4 months.
