Andrew, Iomega is not required to make a pre-earnings announcement. Their current policy is to not comment on sales and earnings. It is probably important to remember that the estimates from the analysts are simply that - estimates. I'm certain they are not given any guidance from Iomega with regards to an earnings number, thus Iomega is not responsible to confirm or deny their predictions. Perhaps Iomega will change their policy in the future, but for now we'll just have to hope for the best.

By the way, I'm not sure how to estimate what an "extremely strong" September means. This statement has been used when discussing 3rd quarter sales and I wonder if September was being compared to previous strong months earlier in the year or to the weak July and August months.

Regards - Dale
