TORONTO, Feb. 5 /CNW-PRN/ - Diversinet Corp. announced today that it has completed the sale of its IPS950 division, a printing business, for a total of $3.27 million.

The sale of this division is in conjunction with the strategic direction of Diversinet Corp., which will focus on its groundbreaking technology for secure electronic commerce with the use of authentication technology.

''The completion of this sale is a significant milestone in the Company's overall business strategy and will achieve immediate benefits to the Company. I am delighted to have achieved this goal in my short time as the President'', said Nagy Moustafa, President and CEO of Diversinet.

''This transaction allows management to focus entirely on the Company goals, which is to become a leading player in the emerging scalable public key infrastructure market,'' adds Mr. Moustafa.

The revenue generated from the sale will be used to fund the marketing of our products currentlyunder development.

Diversinet Corp. is a developer of products based on public-key infrastructures (''PKI'') and technologies required for corporate networks, Intranets and the Internet for electronic commerce.
Its proprietary PKI technology offers customers ease of use, efficient and flexible implementation for many diverse security authentication applications.
