I can't find your post about whipping the slaves?

Was it yours?

I was looking up how to spell juxtaposition and it disappeared. Did I imagine it-lol?

But yes, we humans often juxtapostion sanity with insanity, profoundness with banality.

Jefferson and Washington were the best an brightest of their time and still kept slaves although they knew better.

Sort of. Obviously they were not repulsed by it like people would be today.

The way we think is still very confusing.

Even imagining so many people living with slavery without seeing how horrible it was is sort of unimaginable.

The entire south lived with segregation until they were forced to give it up, until the 1960's.

How come the good people in the south weren't hysterical about it is what I have always wondered and raised hell!!??

Of course this is a section of the country where the people don't even have enough sense to get vaccinated :)>!
