I really respect Senator Manchon's honesty and forthrightness here:

thehill.com

Mind you, I don't agree with his position. 3.5T is needed. But a half of loaf is better than none.

Let's get Sinema on board and get both infrastructure bills passed. I have had enough. In life, as the rolling stones put it," you can't always get what you want," but 2.5T spent on both bills is not bad. And as Manchin said, win two more Senate seats in the midterm elections and the rest of the social infrastructure deal will be passed.

Time for the Dems to grow up and take advantage of what they can and stop fighting. We all have our limits. Be happy that Manchin who professes not to be a liberal, is willing to vote for two bills totalling 2.5T.
