"He wanted $4 trillion until he wanted $1.5 trillion."

Since then, we've passed a $1.9T covid package and a $1.2 T infrastructure bill, which totals $3.1 T.

$1.5T is a lot of money; I think those are the 2nd and 3rd most expensive bills ever, trailing the first covid bill, which was $2.2T. The reconciliation bill could beat that. Spending records are falling as fast as covid and climate records. The last 5 years have been the 5 hottest, and the last 4 bills will be the 4 most expensive.
