The Biden bill is now the "liberal bill" because the media helps him and the gop lie. Anyone can lie. Manchin is very good at it. He wanted $4 trillion until he wanted $1.5 trillion. He's good at getting headlines but he'll never be a leader. That simply confuses several issues. My current reading of Manchin is that he's as open about what he's doing as most senators. And that he is definitely on the conservative side of the Dem senate caucus. And without him, the Dems would not have control of the Senate this time. All that is basic stuff. And, best I can tell, both Pelosi and Biden take him very seriously. Sinema is the problem. Lawrence O'Donnell had a terrific piece the other night on how she is in over her head. And has no staff with background as well. She's the unpredictable outlier to me.
