I am 65...

I am in good health ... work like a 40 year old physically after a lifetime as a software cowboy starting before IBM PC..

I see Member 9165704 as very relevant to many of us...

I have enough money .. I have two kids.. mostly I am growing it for them .. also I plan to die as broke as possible :) with what I want to pass on to kids and charity done before I leave for the obvious tax reasons (I am in Canada) no wealth tax... no inheritance tax beyond what you pay in cap gains upon liquidation :) which makes it easy why dying broke is a good solution :) I have supported the gov through taxes all my life... double taxed is not right

hence the middle portfolio is very interesting ... it is already how I think,,., and actually for my two kids I have taken that tack... YOU HAVE YEARS ... the future is unknown balance it... there is nothing sadder (like in 2008) when many retirees were told well you need to be in it for the long term ... WTF LOL You NEED insurance... you give up some maybe gains... but you are far more secure
