Sometimes John, a person is just a stupid asshole, and that is what Manchin is IMO.

He has no worries about reelection.

I just read that Manchin now wants the Hyde amendment put in the bill. He is such an asshole. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on!! A kinder reading of his motivation is that he knows it won't go anywhere but it is clearly an important factor in West Virginia. Big help for his reelection prospects. Complicated games here. Very Interesting.
