On the bright side, I think a lot of Democrats will think twice before they vote for another moderate.

And that would be really dumb and short-sighted. It would elect a Republican congress. There is a big difference between having a Republican Congress v. a Democratic Congress. Even a Democratic Congress that includes "moderates".

BTW, on another note and replying to an earlier post from you -- you can cite all the polls you want but unless we know the questions that were asked and how the poll was conducted and scored, we don't know anything. We also don't know anything from any single poll or even two polls. That is why RCP gives an average of polls conducted by different organizations, as does 538 which also rates polls and discards some of them for bias or as being outliers.
