When a sociology professor teaches something are they being dogmatic?

I post my ideas like everyone else and am willing to defend anything I post.

I consider it a truism these are simply my opinions.

Having an opinion is not being dogmatic.

Dogma is what we get from authorities like churches and religions.

What we get from an existentialist like me are nothing more than my opinions.

Are they strongly held, yes, as I have had a long life to consider them, but I also recognize I am wrong some times.

I say put your ideas out there and test them.

<,

koan we have jousted often.. I think the dogmatic comment was/is warranted...

Then again the overbearing need for so much compromise is a weakness of your system..

IMVHO..

it is internecine as well as inter party
