My conjecture is that there are jitters about earnings. 3Com commented that it surpassed MRVC/Intel in marketshare for Fast Ethernet switches. But of course since growth in FE is so explosive this past year, it is still possible that MRVC will report good earnings. But losing market share to your biggest competitor is never a good thing. Also, the acquisition of Fibronics and the private placement will eventually create about 2M additional shares. That is about a 10% dilution. The above are 2 possible factors that might be affecting the stock in a negative manner recently. All will become clear in about 2 weeks. Cheers, Lucas
