What are you talking about?

Flynn did say we are getting smarter. He talked about going from concrete thinking to abstract thinking. That is getting smarter.

And existential thought, so prevalent today was only possible when we started thinking abstractly.

I think he felt collectively we were not getting wiser, but I would disagree.

The dangers are just greater.

Wisdom is a product of education. One cannot see what one does not understand, and that includes wisdom.

And i would argue with the gods themselves we are getting wiser.

How does one explain after 200,000 years Homo Sapiens have been around and, 15,000 years of quitting the nomadic life, we engage civil rights for minorities, women and gays in about 100 years.

What would be the variables to effect that?

<,

That when you say we are getting smarter, we aren't - at least not according to Flynn himself. The guy you quote says it is clear we aren't getting wiser. There is other useful information in there - but it won't fit with your narratives.
