I know the streets as well as anyone growing up in Richmond California, and being a poker player, but whereas they know different things, those uneducated gangbangers are not smart.

But i am done with this..

I believe for the mind to work best it needs to educate itself.

Developing a mind capable of abstract reasoning takes a lot of work and is no different than working out for a strong body.

I don't think it is a coincidence the kids voted for Trump and Republicans the least, and each generation voted more for Trump until you get to the old fucks like me who voted the most for Trump.

To me that shows the people are getting smarter, and the kids are smarter than the old folks.

My experience is that there are different kinds - like street smarts and book smarts (there are many more). The history of the 20th century and early 21st undermines your premise.
