I do think we are not doing enough fine motor with kids- they have a limited time to acquire that. I always do a lot of writing in my classes and drawing- which is fun AND which exercises the fine motor skills. Kids have way too much computer/phone time and those skills don't transfer to drawing/handwriting or printing.

I am amazed at how badly some of the little guys draw right now- but with practice than can improve a lot- with practice.
