Hi John,

You asked a question mobile people have been asking

If you were to leave where you’re at now where would you move to?

I am glad I have been in Nairobi rather than the anywhere in a developed country during the Covid thing.
Yes, people were telling to move out 1st quarter 2020 but I was right to stay put.
Covid was mostly a non-event here.

A friend of mine, Israeli-American, have been living in Brazil: Same he was advised to go back to the US as Brazil would be ravaged by Covid etc et al. He keeps telling me he did the right of staying there and is prepared to stay on.

what is the ideal place these days?
We discussed this too.
We concluded: The only places one can consider would be a country run by authoritarian governments.
You get to a woke country you are screwed: Ardern New Zealand, Australia Trudeau's Canada.

I heard the rumor the good doctor is moving to Florida.
Who, please? THE ANT?

Thank God we don’t have the communist controlling it yet. I grew up in New York City I’m horrified at what happened to that place. Australia at least the big cities seem even worse

Don't count yourself lucky just yet. Control would be slily imposed until people discover they have lost 2,000 years of hard won freedom.
The rich these can be living anywhere. Money makes you mobile. The more money, the more mobile one is.
The middle classes are now faster discovering they require mobility. Like the high paying techies of Google moving from NYC to North Carolina.
But realizing that Google will shave off thier salaries Again mobility costing money.
