The Taliban was not the legal government to be negotiating with. All they were, were bunch of barbarians.
Biden had no need to honor anything Pompeo signed with them.
Afghanistan had an elected government.
Biden simply used that as a pretext to leave against the advice of his military, Secretary of Defense and State, his intel, advisers and Afghan diplomates.
He did it all on his own and i think he did it for seeming political reasons (the worst of all reasons) as the date he picked to leave coincided with 9/11, and the generals knew if they did it in the winter it would have been better.
Well, it backfired in everyway possible, it was a shit show, he said wouldn't happen, it hurt him and we dems politically contrary to what he expected, and he lied about it saying no one told him to leave a force in, when the generals said they did, and his Defense secretary..
Today Biden is weaker with Independents than Trump was by one % point, which does not bode well for 2022..
Biden then went on to screw up the Haiti situation at the border.
Biden has been a real drag on our party.

"a tiny US force kept order."
Nope. There was no order. Pompeo signed a surrender in '20; we'll get out if you don't attack us. While Trump was pulling out most troops, the rest of the country was already starting to fall.
"It was huge tactical error" This was the tactical error....
