There you go again making shit up. Per usual.

It came up numerous times.
  • 9 times there has been a Supreme Court vacancy in a presidential election year. The president made a nomination in all 29 cases.
  • 22 of our 44 Presidents faced this situation, and all 22 made the decision to send up a nomination, whether or not they had the votes in the Senate.
  • There have been 10 vacancies resulting in a presidential election-year nomination when the president and Senate were from opposite parties. Only 1 of those was confirmed before the election.
