I remember well the silver corner the Hunts had. I was living in Texas at the time and had a notion of how it rattled the local haves. I did not know the Stutz bearcat story but what wonderful and colorful examples you have referenced.

I did get a call from Bernie, he has just returned from out station and is catching up. We have tentatively set a meet for mid week next week. I am off to Singapore today for a meet this afternoon with a contractor and will take my wife to trip the lights fantastic in that marvelous city after we do martinis at the stand up bar in Raffle's and a lobster at Newton Circus. I hope to imbibe enough martini to hear the ghostly voices of Kipling and Maugham which really isn't much
considering they have so faithfully and beautifully restored that edifice and it is easy to imagine fully dressed colonialist, waiting for the evening meal, and fighting the heat with a cool one.

I wonder if Bernie realizes we are hanging on his broker's words?
