I have to admit I'm not exactly sure what McConnell agreed to. Is it just that the Reps won't filibuster? McConnell's primary allegiance isn't to the people of Kentucky or the American people in general. He only loves his Senate and it's rules. Any threat to that and he melts like a pat of butter in a hot pan. If Mitch caves every time they threaten the filibuster do you really still have a filibuster?
