This is an excellent example of why an investor must avail him(her)self of all info, from charts to BusinessWeek to trade journals specific to the issue, and most importantly listening to the big dog cheerlead. On paper your assessment may seem correct but Dell and CPQ only share one part of a competitive space. CPQ has constitently added to it's corporate menu and has left Dell way back in the pack (Dell specializes in corporate desktop computing). Cpq is now #2 only to IBM and has HP and Sun rather nervous. They went from Double A ball to the major leagues with 2 acquistions. IMHO CPQ is our generations IBM from an investment standpoint.

Sorry for the techno-rant...back to oil any hopes of GW joining this rally??
