Old Republic International. (ORI). I bought this stock about 14 months ago after seeing it was paying a 6%

dividend and had increased it for the last 39 years. What really caught my eye was they had paid a special

dividend 2 of the last 3 years. In just the last 10 months the they had 2 more special dividends. ORI pays a

dividend of 0.88 a share. The first special dividend payed $1.00 a share and yesterday they paid another

special dividend of $1.50 a share. So this company has payed out $3.38 a share in dividends in the last year.

Now that's a Chowder Number.
.

This is from Simply Safe Dividends: Founded in 1923, Old Republic International offers a wide variety of

insurance policies. Old Republic has excelled @ running it's business conservatively over time, not only

outlasting many of it's rivals but also rewarding investors with uninterrupted dividends since 1942 and higher

dividends each year going back to 1982.
