Considering how badly we've hidden the history of everyone who isn't white (or comfortably token- George Washington Carver) it is probably time for this class. Dead white men, and even a few living ones, can be great- but it's time for it Not To be Just About Them. I get it. That's makes some people (especially white men) sad. Sad. Sad. Sad. But it's time.
