>> That technique is a normal response to emergency situations were permission is unobtainable in real time. As we discussed before, that situation would not have existed had Congress taken proper care of landlords in the first place.

Emergency situations do NOT allow a president to ignore the decision of the Supreme Court. This is not a matter of his prerogative. If Trump had done it you'd be calling it a constitutional crisis.

>> It will continue until such time as the GOP decides it wants to be a governing party and stops the war or until it all devolves and collapses.

So Biden carries out an entirely unconstitutional act and you're trying to blame it on GOP. I suppose by going back decades to criticize Gingrich, the best Majority Leader of our time and the one who more than any other person was responsible for bringing the budget back into something reasonably close to balanced around 20 years ago.

>>> As for threats to the Constitution, respectful, knowing individual incidents of said coloring aren't, IMO. Not when people know what they are and wink and nod over them in private. It's when some bull in a china shop doesn't know or understand or care or for his own purposes just uses the system to ride roughshod over everything. Or when a party wants power rather than governance. There's the threat to the Constitution.

Trump never did anything remotely as outrageous. Never. Not even the Jan 6 you guys whine about was anywhere nearly the violation of basic constitutional principles as this was.

But when Biden does that you call it coloring outside the lines. Nice.
