Thanks! I think I'll do that. I recall now why I wrote the "offending" post. The subject of the first sentence has no relevance to the predicate, the Second Amendment. The predicate of the second sentence is an unproven allegation, which, if true, is objectionable but if false, is unfair to the subject in the first sentence. My statement: "unacceptable language no matter who says it" refers to both: the person making the allegation and the person the allegation refers to. That is, if it's true, the statement is very objectionable, but if it's false the allegation is objectionable. Either way, I don't feel guilty about what I said.
