ERG, What I hate is when the jockey wraps the reins around the horse's neck and then twists hard. -g- And, of course, every track has examples of jockeys on the wrong horse jumping off rather than upsetting the way the race was supposed to finish.

However, I still think sponging is the worst thing that has happened since drug testing. They have had to destroy a horse or two because of sponges shoved up their noses and some of the ones who had them removed never recovered their form. Cheating is one thing, but torturing a dumb animal is another. MB
