StockCharts.com where I get my data for the NDX and SOX has not completely updated the changes made to the SOX. I hope those who read the data I share here will understand that while they have removed MXIM (bought by ADI) and added WOLF they have not made all the new additions and deletions. AMKR, BRKS, IIVI, IPGP, LSCC and POWI have also been added to the 30 stocks that currently make up the SOX. The SOX has always been 30 stocks but those 30 stocks can and do change from time to time. In order to add a stock another stock must been deleted. XLNX hit a new all time high today and is not currently a member of the SOX: indexes.nasdaqomx.com StockCharts has not deleted the following symbols from the SOX: CCMP, CRUS, MKSI, SMTC and XLNX. They have not yet added the stocks listed above. I am uncertain of when whatever additions or deletions will show up in that data. I am also uncertain of how accurate the NDX components and associated data is at this time. I simply don't have enough time to check on that. RtS
