Yes this Focal financing is a huge runaround. Frustrating too.
Delgratias work revolved around the geological reports compiled by the swedish geological survey in the 80s when they did a study on the Mojon trend. Further to that reconnaissance type of work the Kisilala ground which is straight east of Santo Domingo was drilled and returned assays as high as .37 oz/ton over 10 meters. This work was not done by Delgratia but by previous landholders.
I have not got the surface sampling numbers in front of me but as I recall the better numbers were from the siquia ground. I can hunt that down for specifics but the point that was made from the ground surveys was that the Mojon trend was continuous into the Delgratia ground.
As it turned out the 17 million dollar project that Delgratia and Western Mining corp were going to do was left for dead because of the salting scandal in Nevada.I believe that Delgratia still holds the ground.
The specifics on the sampling program are available on the website. Access it through info-mine.com
So the new date for the dog and pony show is the 14th. Interesting to see how much of a chunk of the company gets given away for someone to fund the drilling.
Sawyer is likely to go the way of the Ft.McKay play for Focal, they will keep a small retained interest and give it away to someone. It did provide a nice interlude from the inept handling of the NIcaraguan properties.
Tough one to call but I suspect it will languish until they get some cash in the bank. They need 300K US by June to hand over to the Santo Domingo co-operative just to keep in good standing on their ground. Not meeting that would be nothing more than a sieze and get at it invite for Greenstone.
It is nearly inconcievable that as the treasury was being swallowed up that they didnt keep back a bit for a few holes into the heart of the matter. This in itself might explain the difficulties that they are having raising the money. If it was me handing it over I would be down there logging the core myself just to make sure they were spending it on what the market wants to see.A peek into the depths of the vertical dimension.
If there is an upside to this we are having ample opportunity to accumulate the stock.
