Dear Grant:

I also in my soph. year of college gave my heart to Jesus Christ while at VPI & SU. This was 30 years ago. I enjoyed the freedom that the Lord gave me for many years until He called me to a more established lifestyle; just as Christ says when you are old many times you are told to go places where you do not want to go; and so as I get older I am told to go at times places that I question .

But this is what all maturity in Christ is about; so gradually God will unveil His plan for your life to you, and meanwhile give you much freedom; so be very specific in your requests of Him is my advice. If you are praying for a job, tell Him what section of the country you want to locate in, tell Him what salary you wish, whether a large or small company, Naz listed, or NYSE or S&P 500, what department, describe the kind of boss you would like to work for, or immediate supervisor, what dress code is required, ect.

I usually politely ask, "well God if I had a preference I would prefer a maroon New Yorker, 4 or 5 years old , and low miles at a good price, well maintained". And you know He got me one 18,000 miles, the car had sat in a garage for two years when an elderly lawyer was in a nursing home, for $10,000.00.

My I take the liberty to say a prayer for you right now.

Father, I lift up Grant to you in Jesus name. Father, I ask that you place your seal upon his life. Father, clothe and adorn him in the righteousness that we have in Christ. Father, lead him into right relationships, clear thinking, wisdom and all truth. Father, write your statutes upon his heart and draw him unto yourself. Father, guard over him in all pathways and provide the light that illuminates his eyes and soul so that he shall be a light unto the world through Jesus Christ...In Christ..gregor
