It is not a case of accuracy as much as volatility at earnings time. Don't buy because near announcement, 6 out of ten, you will see a turndown. I try to stay out of stocks near earnings announcement. but if you are there then have an exit based on small periods like a 5 MA so if it turns you get out on that. I wish they only had yearly announcements.
