Paul, the fiber connector market is so fragmented among suppliers and prices have been driven to the floor that I don't know how many of them make any money. 3M probably makes more from a day of Post-it sales than from fiber connectors all year. As for Antec, they are one of many fish in the sea as far as marketing to the cable industry. I'm not exactly wild about them if you catch my drift. Nothing personal, I just don't see any barnstorming products coming directly from them that half a dozen other mom and pop distributors can't provide also. Many large companies refuse to play the distributor game and bypass them by sending the real big contract bids straight to manufacturers. Why cut in some additional middle person on a big deal if your don't really get much from them? Just a few thoughts. Ray J.
