That's more like it. I think the last two hours of today will set the pace for tomorrow, when it will trend down in anticipation of next week. Some day today. I really don't see the stock's worth over $1.25 to $1.50 at this point. I can't imagine what will happen, though, if their technology allows for a long-lasting engine, with equivalent emissions per gallon burned, which can be easily tooled up, and which delivers the advertised mileage.
And I gotta say, 100 mpg in a supertrick diesel [probably some kind of turbodiesel] Geo Metro geared optimally to do exactly 60mph, maybe using intake and exhaust tuned for the RPM at that speed, on level ground, AC off, in good weather, etc. etc. is not beyond the realm of comprehension. After all, the stock VW Passat TDI can get 50, and it's 1000 lbs heavier. Still, it would be nice to know what the trick is, and I can't believe that they've conned LMT . . . . |
