David, a very unfair comparison IMO. FAMH, I do not think, will have any plans to "develop" another business or specialization. FAMH is not a "development stage company". Are they trying to develop internet technologies using a fantastic business model? Or drilling for oil with 4 employees total, or researching cell splicing techniques with no revenue? Hardly. This is my personal take: They provide some of the funding for this show, which from the press release, already appears to have had takers in many markets. Through syndication, wider distribution, the profit potential IMO is huge. I hope the return for the company will be substantial (crossing my fingers). I do not think that they are diversifying per se. I agree with Brad that at the very least Mr. Monas and Mr. Adams are extremely energetic and doing what they can to bring the company into a more credible and familiar stance. As regards to the Myriad acquisition, and semantic deconstruction aside, I remember Ira saying that the paper work was finished. If there is anything delaying the completion it is not IMO a signed agreement and is probably administrative. Personally, I am dying in anticipation of the audit numbers, but this press release will certainly set up the release when it comes. Also, I think it is true that the demographic of the target audience of the show will probably not be investors in the company. However, I do think that it increases the presence, and, IMO, that's what we all need aside from the audit, increased demand. Jin. |
