Al-len,

I sat for 5 months within 100 Klicks of the Colombian border. One month of that was only 15 Klicks away from the Frontera. Everyday I would watch the patrolling PNP with their agressive looking Bullet Launchers waving around while they traveled to consumate their illicit drug deals.

Every night I wondered when the FARC would decide to drop by for a special visit. And as of my last visit to Panama in August, the Darien had been overrun by Colombian guerillas and the government had just sent 1200 fully equipped PNP for a little fun in the Jungle.

Home boy here has also been around, my friend.
