Ibexx --- Another customer for the CPQ/DEC MACHINE---- Digital Equipment will supply Sweden's Volvo with desktop PCs, PCs servers (running Windows NT), and other hardware in an agreement valued at $16 million. The deal includes more than 5,000 desktop PCs from the Digital PC 3000 and Digital PC 5000 families, notably the Pentium II-based Digital PC 5510, a Windows NT machine designed with remote manageability features. Under the agreement, systems will be deployed to more than 200 sites throughout Volvo's dealer network in Sweden.
