Here are some pictures from the VC explorers series, the third picture is high quality and really shows off the beauty of the gold case and enamel dial. I tried attaching it but easier to include Christie's link. I believe they are Marco Polo, Zheng He, and Magellan. There are others but didn't see pictures. I'm sort of guessing but think they were made in limited series from the late 1990s to the mid 2000s and think most had a classic 36mm case and based on thin AP automatic movement caliber 2120 developed by JLC and first released in the late 1960s. It's a very elegant workhorse of an automatic movement that has stood the test of time well.
