Holy smokes! How about all those retirees with hugely appreciated stocks? They'll have to sell simply to pay the capital gains tax. Amazing. Surprised that the market did not tank today on that information. I suppose it didn't because there isn't an icicle's chance in hell of the proposal ever passing.
