Off topic:Regarding W. Buffett and silver.
Thanks for you little lesson on...ahem... Mr.Buffett.
Actually if you did any reading on the man you would see the real reasons for him investing in J.P. Morgan(see:The Warren Buffet Way:Hagstrom), I don't need to explain it here.
Regarding silver, as with all his investments he does uses common sense and doesn't get emotional with stock(the real reason why most people fail, along with little patience), he recognized stockpiles to be extremely low and only about a 17-26% replacement of reserves scheduled for the next 5 yrs; I'll leave the math for you.
I too have recognized this and climbed aboard the silver ride late last summer. With the kind of money Berkshire Hathaway has to invest, they have to be careful as it is hard at the best of times to try and invest that amount without upsetting the proverbial apple cart(It looks as though Anglo-American had not surprisingly sold almost the corresponding amount of silver that BH bought).
Silver could really go past $10 but there is still an investigation about price fixing going on I still believe.
