CNBC this afternoon in Market Wrap stated that the rumored suitors were Sun, Oricle, or AOL. IBM was thought to be strong at the beginning but was felt to be out of the running.
Not that I have any idea whats going on. I just tells'em like I hears'em.

Would someone in the know tell my poor enfeebled brain why Sun would want Netscape. Microsoft is going to take the browser market 90% unless the government puts the kabosh on them, and I don't mean by some meaningless "hide the icon" strategy.
