Michael Re:Polaroid-Intel digital cameras will be released in the second half of 1998. Just read this from today's newspaper.. Lots of Policemen are already using notebooks at duty today. But still many of them use conventional Polaroid camera to take picture. There is a strong urge for state to fund the replacement of old cameras with digital cameras. With old camera, policeman takes week to upload the suspect image by "snail mail". With digital camera, it takes no delay from street to database. My guess is soon we will see Policemen use digital cameras on the street. One of them will have Intel chip inside... Henry
