I don't like 2-in-1s, BUT, I have a Lenovo X1 Thinkpad Tablet. And that is the best pen computing system I've had. Even so, 2-in-1s tend to be fragile. I've come to the conclusion that what I really need is a decent desktop and a very light laptop. I will use the desktop for heavy work and I will use the laptop to login to the desktop remotely and have it display on the laptop.

Alternatively, get a decent laptop with an average screen and throw in a 4k 40" TV as your screen.
