Not "trying" anything.
You obviously do not know the difference between "short traded volume" and "shares that are short"

If I short $5.80, and use the money to exercise the warrants, I now have exercised warrants that can cover my short shares and I did not have to sell any of my long position. If I get lucky, I make money on the short waiting for delivery, if I do not, then no matter because I have my exercised warrants to cover my short position. Again, perhaps you should learn a little about this, I have been doing it for over 30 years.
So how many of the actual short shares are long owners of ZEN? If I have an exercised warrant in my back pocket, there is no squeeze. However, you will know by Tuesday next week.

You can have a short traded volume of 2.5million and have no shares short, but, because you assume I am trying something I will not bother to explain further.
