I do not react to CRT because I went through a similar racial "sensitivity" training during the Clinton years (early 1990s). Senior management was pressured to place minorities and women in many positions they were neither educated for nor experienced at. I actually started feeling sorry for many of the "victims" because they were good people who were made to look stupid because they were in way over their heads. My takeaway at the time, and present day attitude: when the SHTF, it all boils down to Meritocracy. If my nuclear plant is having a meltdown, I don't want a sociologist dealing with it. If I'm designing a new bridge, I don't want a community organizer calculating the loads. I don't have anything against any professional discipline, but we all have a "best fit" place in the sun to shine. In my experience, within two years, all of the "misplaced" folks had moved on to more compatible jobs.
