Not sure if you are aware that the infection control mask is intended to have maximum protection to others if you are infected whereas the medical is intended to protect you from others that may be infected. At least that is my understanding. The difference is the layer the magic sauce is applied to.
...however in reality both will provide great protection in either direction IMO.
