Pancho,
I'm not implying anything in what I said. You and I had a debate awhile back as to whether IPIC was a viable company or not. I took the view that it was wounded but not dead. It had and still does have some value to it. You, on the other hand, insisted that you had determined beyond a shadow of a doubt that it would go straight to zero because you had done all the calculations. Obviously, nobody expects any stock to go to zero in a straight line just like no stock rises 10 fold in a straight line. However, you were quite specific in stating that you intended to stay short until the bitter end. I was simply wondering why the sudden change of heart. Your post on the IPIC thread did not sufficiently elucidate the reasons you covered. You merely stated that you were now short AHP.
Personally, I don't care if you short IPIC again or not. However, I am curious to know why some of the people that frequent this thread feel compelled to harass and antagonize the longs on threads were they are short. If they are convinced of their logic for being short, why go to those threads and try to pick a fight? Is it because they are not really sure they are short for the right reasons? Do they really care if the longs on those threads lose money? Do they really feel their persistant posts on those threads will convince enough people to sell to increase their return on those short positions? I have noticed that this type of behavior has become an annoying trend amongst many short sellers in SI. It degrades the value of these threads to the level of hype and BS. In most cases, they don't go to the threads were they are short to engage in meaningful dialog. They only go there to harass and repeat the same derogatory statements over and over again. I haven't followed your postings in the IPIC thread, so this behavior may not apply to you. However, since you seem to have taken offense to my inquiry, I will take this chance to get this complaint off my chest. As anyone that has read my posts here will know, I am not adverse to going short frequently myself. However, it's becoming increasingly difficult to seperate the BS from fact on many of these threads because of the type of posts I've just described.
For the record, I do not now nor have I ever held a position in IPIC.
