Ah Joe,

Getting into some of the special symbols. An X stands for a strike price of $22.50, Y is $27.50. The Z is on a special option since CDT split, if I recall correctly, the option principals need to designate those split adjusted values on the options. Options do split along with the common. CDTCX is the March $22.50 call.

If you see a volume of 354 on an option ..... that means 354 contracts have traded. If you wish to purchase 10 options ..... it will be handled as one transaction by your broker but listed as 10 in the volume for the day.

Will they ever sell between the bid and ask ???? ..... well ..... not usually. These guys are cutthroat and want every dime. I think they are worse than Nasdaq MMs.
