<<How is the overall flow of IOM products in those store? Is demand still up, what's inventory/backlog like? >>

Stopped at a division office for the company I work for. Noticed 3 new scuzzy zips still in wraps. Talked to the PC coordinator (who recently told me our company will never have zips) and asked why he didn't purchase zip plus since persons receiving the drives had lap tops (Gateway) and desktops (Compaq)and the scuzzy would not work on the lap tops. He was not aware of zip plus AND didn't know IOM made scuzzy zips (he thought all zips are parallel assuming that is what he received). After talking to him I found out he just received 3 compaq machines which were ordered with zips. He was told that there is a 3 month wait for internals. That is why he ordered the externals. The machines are leased, possibly the reason for the wait?
A friend ordered a Gateway last Saturday. When asked if she wanted any optional equipment, she requested an internal zip. Sales person said they were promoting the zip for that day and would throw it in for free to anyone who asked for a zip drive. She was told she would have the machine in 10 days. No wait at Gateway.
