I think maybe we embrace technology don't shun it.

i.e take over the direction. I don't need smart appliances, I want technology to be my assistant not my master.

I just borrowed the idiom from "fire" which is also dangerous but been around for ages.

"Keep you friends close, but your enemies closer still", so yeah don't let the guys in George Carlins "there is a club but your not in it" own the best technology and innovation too.

I have talked about "smart" things before, with links.

I am in a mens club. A good set of guys. I just think we should all be in touch on a planetary scale, as Jonny B says, no point hoping our leaders will save us. Thats our job. Maybe include the girls too? -g- Whats the womans version of a mens club? We need nearly everyone on the team.
