np at all.
The "mens clubs" are about 40% building projects, 60% making social contacts and being part of a community. I didn't join mine voluntarily ... it was an expectation that I would be joining when I moved house to the new location. Similarly, at my old location, there were dedicated 'mens clubs' that one of my sisters mentioned that I should maybe join. She is not one of my sisters who normally is concerned about my welfare, and in fact I never bothered to join as I have enough on my plate as was. The move helped free things up.
So if the entity of "normal peoples clubs" is to be enlargened where mens clubs communicate more, it would be silly not to consider the other half of the human race, in other words, similar womans groups.
Historically, I guess it would be these.

Yeah, the "club" per George Carlin definition are not up to running the human side of the Planet and are screwing up badly that will end thing badly for everyone. Things need to change, so more resources and talent should be used to the actual running of the Planet as needed. Why not involve everyone?
It's not exactly "metoo" it's sort of "mewillactuallymakethingsbetter" type of attitude. In fact just like Jonny Bigger suggests.
That way the "smart technology" is developed so people are happy with it's use, and it's not used to f**k up everyones lives... That seems to be the target of the application at the moment.
